“Hephaestus’s Workshop”- this was an assignment for a class Miriam Sagan and I took together, “Feminism and Photography,” taught by Laura Larson. The assignment was to do a performative portrait. We got to have some fun while delving into themes that are important to us – disability representation, being a woman in male-dominated spaces, and what it means to create/inhabit a body!
